2.5.1.2 I like my Editor

Veripad is recommended for use of edit and debug. However you can use your editor by setting the dialog below.

Menu->Editor->Editor Setting

You need two setting.

1)Editor Program Path
D&D the path of your editor from the property of your editor's icon.. In this example,"D:\Program Files\Hidemaru\Hidemaru.exe" is the path. Please note "" is necessary when SPACE is included.
2)Arguments
$L is lineno and $F is file name. replaced when invoking the editor, where the format is depending on your editor.
Here are some examples,

• maruo editor  /j$L $F
• Em Editor  /l $L $F
• Vim  +$L $L

Note:

• Enable check validates your editor. Uncheking "Enable" validates Veripad.
• You can not use unique function of Veripad on your editor.
