2.4.15 Run Length

Let's look at example. Load Project "samples/pll_test_w_time.vtakprj"
MENU->Simulation->Run Length , you should see dialog below


To enable Run Length , Set enable and press OK. Now Run Length becomes 400ns.

Press Go button. By pressing Go button 400ns time advances as below.

Note:

• Run Length is available only in source debug mode(default).
• After Compilation,  press OK in dialog first. After then function works.
• When Run-Length is available, you see check mark at MENU.
• When you want disabled ,uncheck enable in dialog
• This pause mechanism will not generate new event in simulator. For example, assume you set 400ns but  there are no event at 400ns   and next event is at 420ns, pause will occur at 420ns.Veripad open the line for first event at 420ns.
